MARK NICOTERA
Vice President of Portfolio Management and Remarketing
Mark Nicotera joined Somerset in January of 2001 and is currently responsible for analyzing the projected, end-of-term residual value of assets to be leased. Mr. Nicotera keeps abreast of technology and other equipment changes impacting the value of the assets subject to our lease portfolios, providing timely technical updates to the sales team so they can appropriately advise lessees as they plan their use of leased equipment. In addition to this, Mr. Nicotera is responsible for remarketing equipment that is eventually returned by lessees, and oversees two portfolio specialist groups which ensure that the data for each base transaction is recorded correctly, from inception through lease expiration and beyond. Mr. Nicotera is also responsible for the management of internal information technology at Somerset.
Prior to joining Somerset, Mr. Nicotera managed procurement and remarketing activities for the technology rentals and services business unit of the CIT Group in Dallas, TX. He has also held management positions with CompUSA (Dallas, TX), Computer City (Fort Worth, TX), PC BRAND (Chicago, IL) and Electro-Rent (Elk Grove, IL). This experience has given him an understanding of many facets of the high-technology industry, including: product management, advertising, merchandising, manufacturing, sales, rental and leasing, and equipment repair and refurbishment.
Originally from Wisconsin, Mr. Nicotera attended the University of Wisconsin - Madison and the Wisconsin School of Electronics, graduating with a degree in electrical engineering technology in 1984.
