LARRY MARTINEZ
Director of Brokerage and Remarketing
Larry Martinez joined Somerset Capital in July 1999, bringing with him over 12 years of leasing experience, particularly remarketing post-lease assets and equipment brokerage. His specialties are Sun Microsystems, IBM RS-6000 and HP 9000 workstations, servers and related equipment.
As the head of the Scottsdale, Arizona office and technical facility, Mr. Martinez manages Somerset's off-lease RISC portfolio, directing the sales efforts through both retail and wholesale channels. He is also responsible for managing the brokerage purchase and sale of other RISC based assets. During Mr. Martinez's tenure at Somerset, he has effectively grown the Arizona presence into a full technical facility where he and his team are able to test, diagnose and custom configure RISC base workstations and servers for clients around the world.
Prior to joining Somerset, Mr. Martinez was an account executive in SGI sales for CRA, Inc., a unit of CIT, where he spent six years in remarketing and brokerage activities. He has also worked as an account executive for Dana Commercial Credit in Maumee, Ohio and as an account executive for the CIT Group in San Francisco, California.
Originally from Phoenix, Arizona, Mr. Martinez graduated from Arizona State University with a bachelor of science in finance.
